What Is FCCLA and FCS Education?
Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) Education is a Career and Technical Education field that teaches students essential life and career skills! This includes nutrition and wellness, financial literacy, child development, leadership, and career readiness. FCS prepares students to succeed in their families, careers, and communities through hands-on and real-world learning.
Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is the official student organization for FCS education. FCCLA allows students to apply what they learn through FCS education through leadership opportunities, community service, and competitive STAR Events, strengthening their skills beyond the classroom.
